Let her be a part of the decision on what to cook but give only limited and that too healthy options like do you want a paneer sandwich or a paneer parantha? Let her be a part of meal preparations like setting up the table before mealtime or helping you in choosing the vegetable to be cooked for the day. Tell her stories about the benefits of healthy eating or you can show a video as well. The family should have meals together so that the kid learns healthy eating habits from parents as well as siblings.

Let her make a mess and let her play with the food and this is how she will learn to eat independently. Persistence is the key. Offer the same food 10-15 times and one fine day, your kid might just start eating it. Offer colourful foods in colourful plates and in quirky mugs and cut foods into different shapes to attract the attention of the kid.
