This area can stay moist from saliva or food, leading to irritation or a mild rash called perioral dermatitis. Keep the area clean and dry, wash gently with lukewarm water, and avoid using harsh soaps or creams. Apply a gentle baby moisturizer or a mild zinc-based cream. If the pimples worsen, spread, or become painful, consult a pediatrician or dermatologist to rule out any infection or allergy.
