Q.

my daughter is 8.5 months old. at the time of birth she was 2.4 kg. She gains weight very slowly. Is there any problem with this? Otherwise she is well.

A. Hello mom as far as the baby is active for her age and also having her feed well enough and gaining weight gradually not an issue , babies double their birth weight by the age of 4 to 6 months and triple by one year of age.

A. Hi weight gain is fine as per age. usually babies triple the birth weight by 1 year. so continue giving natural home cooked foods to the child & avoid biscuits chocolate sugar laden drinks bread cakes chips completely
