Q.
My daughter is 3.6 yrs Old, she had running nose and dry cough. which is not reducing even after giving her the medicines. it's been a week now. what should I do next?

Dr Sameer awadhiyaGuardian of 2 children3 years agoA. Cough along with Cold most of the time is a viral illness and it needs supportive care along with proper hydration. you can give steam inhalation which is very useful .
cough needs to be treated with anti allergic and expectorant bronchodilators or antitussives medicine which should be given only aftegyr a proper evaluation by the doctor according to the type of cough.
if fever is there paracetamol can be given to reduce thte fever and the dose can be repeated after 6 hours again if required .

cold and cough can take around 3-9 days to subside. so no need to worry.
continue with the medicine prescribed by the doctor.
Apply babyhug rapid relief roll on or vicks vaporub to get relief from cough and cold
