My daughter is 20 month old don't respond her name while calling and speak eeee oooo aaa opp and avoid eye contact

Dr Sameer awadhiyaGuardian of 2 children3 years agoA. Regarding Speech Baby usually start mono syllable by 6 to 7 months of age then by syllable words come by 9 to 10 months of age
then by 12 to 14 months of age baby say two to three words followed by jargon speech at 15-16 months .
child can start saying simple sentences by two years of acge .
just make the child comfortable and do more interaction with the child so that he can learn to speak sentcences properly.
if the speech does not comes even by three years of age you need to consult your doctor for a proper assessment of the child .

Hi If your child is behaving like this certain times it could be due to delayed age growth and these are signs for mild autism as well it is better that you please get in touch with a child psychologist ones get a proper check up done then only you can be sure about the right reason behind it
