Q.

My daughter is 2 years 11 months old. She is constantly suffering from constipation. How can I relieve her of it?

A. at this age the child should pass stool regularly. if the consistency is hard and the child is having pain while passing stool it is considered as constipation. give plenty of water and fibre diet to the child it is important to give fibre diet from cereals pulses vegetables and fruits avoid giving more than 400 ml milk everyday and avoid giving packet and processedf foods as well as biscuits and refined food adding papaya , fennel seeds water , oats pear prunes pineapple banana kishmish to the regular diet will help in decreasing constipation.

A. hello try to give your child water while after every solid and include fruits especially banana and papaya which can help the child and include fibre rich foods in the diet which will help the child get relief from the constipation problem
