Q.
My daughter is 2 year. She has sleep association with breastfeeding. She takes two time feed once in afternoon before nap and at night before sleep. During night wake up also she takes feed. How to break this association. I want to do this without much tear and anger. And I have no support from my partner. Many times I told her that now you grow up but she cries and screams for feed

ExpertVandana SharmaNutritionist2 years agoA. Hello mom tantrum will happen, you have to be firm in your decision and avoid to give in to their demands.
you can try to stop one feed at a time, keep them full with solids or cows milk .. & try to distract them during the phase. have a bed time routine , read stories for them, or enact a story .. gradually it would settle down.
