Q.

my daughter is 19kg and 4 year old got high fever since 3days. I have given crocin 240 after every 6hours but still fever doesnot down. then i also gave mefkind p but again fever persist even after 2hours. what to do now??

A. whenever fever is not improving with paracetamol you will have to see if the dosage of the medicine is given according to the weight of the child or not and if the power of the paracetamol is proper. also if the medicine is older than one month after opening then better to buy a new bottle.x you have to give paracetamol and also do body sponge and keep the child in cotton clothes. after 2 hours of paracetamol if the fever is is not improving then you can go for higher medicines like ibugesic or meftalx p. paracetamol can be given maximum four times per day.
