Q.
my child is soon going to be 3 years old... he says A to Z alphabets,colours name ,he can identify colours ajimal alphabets objects... sing a rhyme with a tone. sometimes pronounce 1 or 2 words from rhyme.... make a proper eye contact... respond whenever i say anything.... but he is not talking properly.... what shud i do??

Dr Sameer awadhiyaGuardian of 2 children3 years agoA. Regarding Speech Baby usually start mono syllable by 6 to 7 months of age then by syllable words come by 9 to 10 months of age
then by 12 to 14 months of age baby say two to three words followed by jargon speech at 15-16 months .
child can start saying simple sentences by two years of age .
just make the child comfortable cf and do more interaction with the child so that he can learn to speak sentences properly.
if the speech does not comes even by three years of age you need to consult your doctor for a proper assessment of the child .
