Q.

my child is 1 yr 4 months old....when she was 7 months old the doctor prescribed crocin drops with dosage of 5 drops every 6 hrs during fever.....now my child is 1 yr and 4 month old...what should be recommended dose as she has fever now

A. i have crocin 100mg/mL and my baby weight is 9.9 kg so what should be the recommended dosage now

A. you have to give paracetamol for fever as well as pain according to the weight of the child as well as according to the strength of paracetamol medicine you are having. there are different strength of paracetamol available in the market that is it may be in the drops formulation which might be having power of 100 mg or or 125 mg or 150 mg in each 1ml. in syrup formulation paracetamol has got different powers like 120/ 25mg and 240/ 250 mg in each 5ml. so thex doctor will calculate the dosage according to the power and weight of the child. paracetamoxl can be given max 4 times per day
