I would suggest for any dental issues please visit Pedodontics (dentist for kids/babies) and don't depend on Pediatrician as they will not have much knowledge about it. I'm saying from my own experience. Initially when i went for check up for my son when he was 2 years old;  they said it's calcium deficiency as there was a yellow deposit on his front teeth and they prescribed calcium syrup. Now he is 2.5 years and I went to Pedodontics and they informed me to do root canal for front 2 teeth as it has turned into cavity and was really very upset cause i agreed to Pediatrician initially thinking it's calicum deficiency and ignored for 6 months which turned into cavity. Wish they would have told visit Pedodontics at that stage and i could have saved my son's teeth .I dont any mean to scare you but just wanted to create awareness.
