Q.
my child has cough and fever since a week and giving her paracetamol since three days, cough syrup since five days. it is not reduced. please suggest what to do next

Dr Sameer awadhiyaGuardian of 2 children3 years agoA. Cough along with Cold most of the time is a viral illness and it needs supportive care along with proper hydration. you can give steam inhalation which is very useful .
cough needs to be treated with anti allergic and expectorant bronchodilators ohr antitussives medicine which should be given only after a proper eyvaluation by the doctor according to the type of cough.
if fever is there paracetamol can be given to reduce the fever and the dose can be repeated after 6 hours again if required .

You have done anything from your side still if you are not getting the designs as of now then you should take an advice from your paediatrician on this because they will be and why are you with proper medicines to go ahead with also I would advise you to start nebulising the child twice a day for a weekWrite Your Answer Here
