Mom of a 2 yr old boy12 months ago

Q.

my one year old has had a fever and a cough five days back I gave paracetamol 2 days ago now no fever but he is coughing severely... giving nebulizer 3 times , Antibacterial syrup and cold syrup as per doctor prescribed ....but cough is still there when it will go away ? I'm really worried pls help
