Q.
My babyboy is 8 months old. He's not passing out stool since 4-5 days. I have given him Empty and Evict both syrups and papaya puree apple puree but still he's not passing out stool and crying a lot. Please suggest what to do now

Dr Sameer awadhiyaGuardian of 2 children3 years agoA. Constipation in Babies less than 6 to 8 months is very common and more in formula fed babies.
you can give bonnisan drops and some enzyme preparations in proper dose suggested by doctor and cow's milk should be avoided before 1 year of age

Without proper physical examination it is not possible to conclude anything about what is the solution. Get your baby personally examined by your doctor and seek further advice. Increase the liquid intake and fibre intake. Good luck and take care.
