My baby was sucking her dumb, is it good or bad? otherwise My breastmilk was not enough for My baby?

Dr GhouseGuardian of 3 children4 years agoA. sucking of thumb at the age of 3 months is normal it is not a sign of hunger For further advice it is advisable to consult your local doctor for appropriate examination if there is need for investigations also then only proper treatment can be given to you o . Babies have natural rooting and sucking reflexes, which can cause them to put their thumbs or fingers into their mouths — sometimes even before birth. Because thumb sucking makes babies feel secure, some babies might eventually develop a habit of thumb sucking when they're in need of soothing or going to sleep.
