my baby was filling very painfull from last three days. face mums problem. What can do now to relief from this problem?

Dr Vandan H KumarFather of a 7 yr 4 m old boy1 Year agoA. mumps is a type of viral infection. it is due to infection in the parotid gland which is type of salivary gland. it is a self limiting illness and the child will improvxe in 4 to 7 days. it can involve one side or both sides of the jaw where parotid gland is present. symptomatic treatment is given in the form of paracetamol and warm compress can be done to xdecrease the swelling. please remain in contact with your doctor for treatment. it can be prevented by giving mmr vaccination.
