Q.
my baby was born with black hair. she is 7 months now. her hair has turned dark brown. few days back I noticed some red hair on her scalp..why is her hair changing color?

Author of questionMom of 2 children4 years agoA. sravanthi , her hair are black with at least 50 grey hair. the process of greying is very slow. so I have stopped worrying. there are other very important things to think about.

Author of questionMom of 2 children4 years agoA. sravanthi I consulted at least 5 docs. they said nothing can be done. it is genetic. two doctors had suggested zincovit syrup. but it didn't help. I have always tried to give my daughter home cooked nutritious food and tried to use mild and very less shampoo on her scalp. I give her vit d syrup and calcium daily since last 6 months since she was grinding her teeth at night which is a sign of calcium deficiency. I always had calcium and vit d deficiency . I guess this was the reason my daughter inherited it and that is why she had white hair in her infancy.

CharuMom of a 10 yr 2 m old boy8 years agoA. hi dear.... don't worry about baby hair... currently babies development is going on... so may be this is because of this... so keep oiling your baby head..and after few months then original colour willcome... same thing happened with my son... now he is 2 and his hair colour is black..
