Q.

my baby's dr said that salt and sugar can be given in his food. but I have read at many places that they should not be given. can I give salt and sugar or not?

A. yes, it should be good to avoid, .as it will affect your baby's developing kidney.. can add that too on less amount after 1 year if age. all the best

A. hi dear Those 7–12-months-old are able to meet their needs from breastmilk or formula and the small amounts of sodium naturally present in unprocessed complementary foods. As such, experts recommend that you don't add salt to your baby's food during their first 12 months ( 2 , 4 , 5 ).
