Q.
My baby is still not able to sit on his own, though he can sit without support for sometime. Also he is yet to crawl, he goes forward in commando style crawl. Is this normal?

Dr Sameer awadhiyaGuardian of 2 children3 years agoA. a baby will start Sitting with support by 6 months of age and by 7 to 8 months baby will sit without support than by 9 months usually baby crawls and in 10 months baby will stand with support.
After 12 to 15 months baby will start Walking independently and sometimes it jmay take even longer but in no case any Walker should be avoided as it can cause recurrent fall injury and delay in gthe walking because the child lacks confidence of walking independently.
