My baby is one year and four months...she had high fever two days before (temperature raised upto 104 degrees)..She had experienced seizure for the first time(seizure lasts upto 5 minutes)...May I know, Is seizure normal to happen in baby?Our doctor suggested to have frisium 5mg half a tablet twice a day whenever fever occurs...Is this tablet necessary to have when fever occurs till 5 years?Is this tablet safe to give for baby?

A. Yes it should be given to avoid situation of seizures as higher grade fever can lead to seizures do follow your doctor advice and if doubtful take a second opinion take care
