Q.
My baby is in his 5th month but not holding his neck is this something to worry

ExpertDr Mahesh PatilPaediatrician3 years agoA. Hello baby boy is 5 months old and if he doesn’t have a neck control yet then see if his social smile and eyes contact was in time otherwise consult with paediatrician

Dr Sameer awadhiyaGuardian of 2 children3 years agoA. a baby will start Sitting with support by 6 months of age and by 7 to 8 months baby will sit without support than by 9 months usually baby crawls and in 10 months baby will stand with support.
After 12 to 15 months baby will start Walking independently and sometimes it may take even longer but in no case any Walker should be avoided as it can cause recurrent fall injury cgv and delay in the walking because the child lacks confidence of walking independently.
