Q.

my baby is having cold and tomorrow we have a vaccine planned for her . is it ok to give vaccine when having cold ?

A. yes simple fever , cough and cold as well as simple discomfort of the child for a few days is not a contraindication for vaccination and it is advisable to go for vaccination at the earliest. the maximum you can delay would be around 2-3 weeks but after that it is advisablye not to delay the vaccination if still in confusion you can meet your doctor who will examine the child and tell you whether vaccination delay is preferable or you can go for vaccination

A. Hello there ma’am please do not worry about it too much and yes you can give your baby vaccination if there. Is no severe cold and also you can check with your local child doctor in person and follow the instructions. Take care
