my baby is having cold and cough and im using tminic drops can you suggest some other syrup please

Cough and cold can we because of some allergic reaction in the body most of the time it is viral in the origin nhvfeed to give symptomatic treatment first like steam inhalattion and some home remedies cough expectorant may be required along with anti allergic medications
