Q.

my baby is five and half month old, 5.7 kg weight. she is suffering from fever 100.3F . I am giving pyregesic drops 0.6 ml for a day but no reduction in fever. please suggest what to take care in this situation. Also, does teething causes fever?

A. Hi yes teething causes low grade rise in body temperature.. consult with your pediatrician if body temperature rises above 100.4 degrees.. gently massage the gum pad area with clean finger tip or moist cold cotton cloth to facilitate the eruption process of teeth
