Q.

My baby is 9 months 15 days old. She was due for vaccination. the doctor injected PCV Booster which is to be given in 15 months and said it's ok. Baby was too cranky after the vaccination. what to do ?

A. when fever comes after vaccination you can give paracetamol to the child for fever as well as pain. paracetamol can be given maximum 4 ctimes per day. you can also apply ice over the injection site. if there is local swelling you can apply ice as well as thrombophob gel. vaccine fexver usually subsides in max 2 to 3 days but if it continues beyond 3 days meet your dr to rule out any other causes of fever
