Q.
My baby is 8 months old . I need to ask that whether we can give coconut water to babies as weather is so hot out here and babies are getting dehydrated .. baby is having cold and running nose .

ExpertDr Disha PatelAyurvedic Physician3 years agoA. as he is having cough n cold don't give coconut water, best is to give plenty of breast milk.
for medication, it's preferable to visit your doctor, for further evaluation and exact treatment or management.

as she has cold and running nose you may give her soups and water
but not some juice or coconut water
keep her Hydrated by giving her a spoon of salty water (very small quantity of salt)
keep a bowl of chopped onion near her bed approx three feet far over night
