My baby is 7 months old, from last few days he started getting stiff while crying and gets silent suddenly without any expression for few seconds. Is this something normal?

It is advisable for you to get your baby personally examined by your child’s doctor and seek further advice. Clarify all your concerns and follow your doctor’s advice diligently.
