Q.

My baby is 55 days old. After breast feeding, after few minutes or an hour afterwards he is getting choke like cough ( porai eruthal in Tamil) atleast 3 to 4 times daily. Should I get concerned about this ? What should I do ? As I have sagging breast and flat nipples , I am unable to sit and feed him. So I used to lay down to feed.

A. Cough and Cold along with the symptom like Fever loss of appetite irritability could be a feature of viral infection or seasonal flu where most of the time supportive treatment is given. along with that coughh expectorant and decongestant with antiallergic medicine givenmk. steam inhalation can be given frequently to relieve the symptoms.
