#AskTheExpert Hi, my baby is 53 days old. she is drinking milk for few minutes (5 to 10 minutes ) and going to sleep for half an hour or hour from last 2 days. again is she taking. is it normal ? thanks in advance.

Dr GhouseGuardian of 3 children4 years agoA. the baby is less than 2 months of age it is quite natural that small babies will be feeding hardly for 5-10 minutes and sleeping for 1 2 hours it may continue for a few more weeks to month

Sai Prasanthi R LMom of a 11 yr 6 m old boy4 years agoA. Hello dear parent! Just check the pee count. Your baby should be passing urine a minimum of 6 to 8 times in a day to ensure good milk intake. If it less then please increase the number of feeds. Continue feeding your baby well on demand for better health, nutrition and hydration. Good luck and take care.
