my baby is 4m old can we use vicks baby rub for cold,cough and phlegm?

Dr Vandan H KumarFather of a 7 yr 4 m old boy3 years agoA. yes you can apply Vicks if the child is not having any allergy to it
Nasal saline drops can be given again and again to the child because it is salt water which will help in decreasing the nasal blockage by clearing the mucus
Try to prevent temperature variations around the child which is the most common cause of cough and cold in small children
For fever and pain give paracetamol
Continue the regular diet which is being given to the child

Maintain a good personal hygiene and make your baby wear comfortable clothing as per the season. Use nasoclear saline drops. Continue breastfeeding your baby well on demand. Regularly massage your baby with Babyhug daily massage oil for skin warmth.
