my baby is 4 months old. isne 4 din se potty nahi ki hai. but she is drinking milk fine. and is not even irritated. is it normal?

It is very normal for small children that sometimes they will not pass stool for 10 days also and sometimes they will pass stool more than 7 to 8 times per day. If the consistency of the stool is Semi solid to semi liquid do not worry about the frequency of the stool. No medicines needs to be given isn such a case but you have to meet the doctor only if the stool consistency is hard. It is advisable to give only milk to the child and nothing else before completion of 6 months of age. intermittenst crying of the child is due to colic pain and not due to constipation.

NikithaMom of a 11 yr 4 m old boy2 years agoA. hello the breastfeed baby will have less waste and can go without passing motion even for a week and if the baby is not able to pass motion even after a week then you may check with your doctor and she will be able to guide you accordingly which would be better
