Q.

my baby is 4 months old and she have fever yesterday overnight, I gave medicine also still today morning temperature is 100.1 .

A. for fever as well as pain kindly give paracetamol according to the weight of child as well as according to the power of paracetamol medicine you are having and paracetamol can be given maximum 4 times per day and also do body sponge to decrease the surface temperature. also when u take temperature in the armpit of the child and it is 100 or more then only considers it as fever and give paracetamol. higher medicines for fever like ibugesic and mefenamic has to be given only after medical consultation. after givings fever medicines you can wait for maximum 3 days and then meet your doctor if it is not improving. keep the child in cool atmosphere

A. hi it is advisable to consult your pediatrician for this please give plenty of breastfeeds to your child give sponge bath to reduce the temperature dress your child lightly
