my baby is 2months old and has hernia ,due to which his belly button is popped out. what to do?

Dr Vandan H KumarFather of a 7 yr 4 m old boy12 months agoA. the child is having umbilical hernia which is very common in children and goes away by maximum 2 years of age.
with growing age it regresses and cgoes inside
it does not require any intervention or treatment before 2 years if it is non complicated.
meet your doctor once who will tell you whether any intervention or wait and watch policy is required.

RashmiMom of a 11 yr old girl12 months agoA. It normally settle on its own but I am going to recommend you to consult your paediatrician umbilical hernia is a very common thing to be seen with kids so consult your doctor suggest any treatment or ointment to apply on that area
