See jaundice this is completely normal and common with a child after birth but the doctor is normally advised to keep the child into phototherapy depending upon the levels for a minimum of 24 to 48 hours after that when the discharge is done the doctor says that you should give the child into indirect sunlight for at least 30 to 40 minutes into indirect sun rays.
