Q.

my baby is 21months old and still not speaking except amma,Nanna,akka,ammomma,papa words. not giving eye contact. what to do plz help me

A. Regarding Speech Baby usually start mono syllable by 6 to 7 months of age then by syllable words come by 9 to 10 months of age then by 12 to 14 months of age baby say two to three words followed by jargon speech at 15-16 months . child can start saying simple sentences by two years of age . just make the child comfortable and do more interaction with the child so that he can learn to speak sentences properly. if the speechhg does not comes even by three years of age you need to consult your doctor for a proper assessment of the child .

A. As per the growth milestones set by pediatricians, most babies start to make eye contact at around three months of age. If an infant fails to make eye contact in the first six months, an immediate consultation with an expert is recommended.
