Q.

my baby is 2 yr 4 months old yesterday she slip and fell down and her head hurts ,there is a slight swelling but after giving cold ice pack the swelling gone .she stops crying and back to normal and there are no signs like vomiting ,bleeding and she is as usual active ,do I need to take scan?

A. It's good that the swelling reduced after applying ice packs and your baby stopped crying. However, since the fall involved her head, keep a close watch for any signs like vomiting, excessive sleepiness, irritability, loss of balance, or unusual behavior. If any of these occur, or if the headache continues or worsens, take her to a doctor immediately. For now, continue monitoring her closely and avoid any rough play.
