Q.

My baby is 2 months old and since a week she is rubbing her eyes constantly and there is styes as well on either eye. There is redness in the eyelids. Do we need to meet any nearest pediatrician or is there any solution. Please suggest.

A. Most styes don't need treatment. But your child's healthcare provider may prescribe antibiotic eye drops or eye ointment. To help ease your child's symptoms, apply a warm compress to the stye 3 to 4 times a day. This can be done with a warm, clean washcloth.
