Q.
My baby is 2 months 20 days old and during pregnancy at 38 weeks she was mild iugr baby and I had Normal delivery,her birth weight was 2600gm .she is achieving her milestones and is active but her posterior fontanelle is still open,when it will close ?

Author of questionMom of a 1 yr 6 m old girl1 Year agoA. is this same for posterior fontanelle ,I have read that anterior fontanelle will close by 18 month to 24 month but posterior fontanelle closes by 3 month?

RashmiMom of a 11 yr old girl1 Year agoA. It usually closes by the time of 17 months and your child is only two months out of now so don’t worry you can happen any time between the age of three months to 17 months so need not worry about it it is going to close over the passage of time
