ExpertDr. Mohammed imranPaediatrician2 years agoA. baby should gain 30 gm per day it should double the birth weight by 5 month of age Weight gain depeens upon birth weight and maturity of the baby if the baby is active and feeding adequately don't worry about it feed for 10 to 15 min from each side

For overall healthy growth and development, it is important to include all types of nutrient rich foods along with a variety of fluids and atleast 2 snacks.
