Q.

my baby is 2.8 years old he is having fever from yesterday...fever sometime comes down sometimes becomes high...why it is...degree is between 99 to 102.

A. Fever is a response of the body to any kind of infection or any inflammatory process in body so you can give paracetamol in a dose of 15 mg/kg/dose as the first line treatment also this dose can be again repeated after every 5 to 6 hours if agaiddn required and you can also do cold sponging of the body to reduce fever

A. Hi If the fever is fluctuating that much that it is better that you consult your paediatrician ones because they will give you a better dosage that you can give to the child for deduction of the fever sometimes fever can’t stay for a longer duration but it’s always advisable to consult your doctor for this
