Q.
baby is 11 month old having fever.. doctor prescribed paracetamol syrup after giving syrup fever goes down but after sometime fever comes again...what to do

Dr Vandan H KumarFather of a 7 yr 4 m old boy1 Year agoA. you have to give paracetamol according to the weight and according to the power of paracetamol medicine you are having.
it can be repeated maximum 4 times per day.
armpit temperature of hundred or more is considered as fever
weather higher medicines like ibugesic or meftal p is required or not will be told by the doctor.
keep the child in cool environment and avoid using woolen clothes when the child is having fever
important to avoid them if possibled.
do body sponge to decreased the body temperature and give plenty of fluids and water to drink to prevent dehydration. x
