A. If your baby has ingested a small amount of Fevistick or any adhesive product, it's important to take quick action: 1. **Stay Calm:** While it's concerning, remaining calm will help you handle the situation effectively. 2. **Assess the Situation:** Try to determine approximately how much of the adhesive your baby ingested. Even a small amount can be concerning, so take the situation seriously. 3. **Contact Poison Control:** Immediately call your local poison control center or emergency medical services. They can provide specific guidance based on the amount ingested and the age and weight of your baby. 4. **Follow Medical Advice:** Follow the instructions provided by the medical professionals. They may advise monitoring your baby closely for any symptoms or may recommend seeking immediate medical attention. 5. **Watch for Symptoms:** Keep a close eye on your baby for any signs of distress, difficulty breathing, choking, vomiting, abdominal pain, or unusual behavior. If you notice any concerning symptoms, seek medical help immediately. 6. **Prevent Future Incidents:** Store adhesive products and other potentially harmful substances securely out of reach of children to prevent similar incidents in the future. Even if your baby seems fine initially, it's essential to seek professional medical advice whenever a child ingests any potentially harmful substance. Prompt action can help ensure the safety and well-being of your child.
