Q.
My baby is 17 days old. I had c section and I am trying my best to do breastfeeding but my baby is falling asleep and not latching. As he is premature (34 weeks completed) , doctor advised to give formula milk which we are giving in 2-3 hours interval. I breast pump and give him so that he does get breast milk. But I am getting depressed as he is falling asleep while breastfeeding. Could you please advise.

ExpertDr.Deepinder Kaur DhawanObstetrician and Gynaecologist3 years agoA. give only breastmilk till completion of Six month and feed in upright position and burp inbetween and after feeding session and give colicaid drops thrice a day.

please don't get panic
please give plenty of breast feeding to your child when you're child is demanding
sleep is also very important for child growth and development
please maintain hygiene properly with Babyhug multipurpose cleaner
