Don't worry about the mess. Some babies don't like to eat until they explore the food themselves. Also try to change the routine menu and introduce new recipes following the two day gap rule.
Use different colored plates in different shapes and different types of spoons in different colours to get ur child's attention. Don't force the child too much everyday, he might start disliking milk completely. So give milk one day and next day give an alternate source of calcium. Also to start with give only less amount of milk and once she starts drinking slowly increase the quantity. You can introduce milk in other forms like chapathi, idly or dosa or rice in milk like that. You can give other alternative sources of calcium or other food items which will give the same nutrients as milk like green leafy vegetables, pulses, sprouted grains, ragi, soya products etc. Instead of milk try other dairy products like curd, paneer, butter milk, ghee, butter, cheese etc.,
