My baby is 12days old and she is passing motions every 2-3hours..is this normal? and motions are proper yellow and thin, same texture and quantity every time. In one shot, she is not passing too much motions but every 2-3hours after breastfeeding she is passing little little. For the records, her jaundice was around 12 last week. I am feeling like is her body adapting the breast milk because she is passing motions too many times. 10 diapers we are changing on an average per day (but not much quantity of motions). Should I consult her paediatrician or is this normal?

Loose motions are normal in this stage instead of using diapers all the time I would suggest you to use a nappy with a nappy pad into that so that you don’t have to use so many diapers uselessly just dumped the nappy pad and you are done still if you want you can check with your doctor for further assistance
