Q.
My baby is 12 months old,his anal opening remains mostly red along the border and outside please is there any natural remedy or it needs any medical attention.

Namrata SinghMom of a 3 yr 5 m old girl2 years agoA. I don't have a medical background but my girl had this issue and I applied ghee everytime I made her wear a diaper .. it helped a lot .. and it's a quick fix too and no side effects ...

Dr Sameer awadhiyaGuardian of 2 children2 years agoA. it may be diaper rash Diaper should be change frequently and not used more than 3 to 4 hours or if the diaper is soiled it should be change immediately also try to use a diaper with super absorbent jelly which will be more helpful in reducing the rashes diaper should not be used very frequently also use zinc oxide barvfrier diaper rash creams to avoid contact of urine with the skin
Also maintain proper hygiene and avoid dampness which can cause secondary fungal infection.
