A. It is not uncommon for young children to have distended bellies due to their developing digestive tract and dietary habits. However, if you are concerned about the size of your 1-year-old's belly and her frequent bowel movements, it is advisable to consult with your pediatrician. They can assess her growth and development, as well as discuss her diet and feeding habits. Monitoring her bowel movements, appetite, and any accompanying symptoms will help the doctor provide appropriate guidance and potential interventions if necessary. In the meantime, ensuring she is receiving a balanced and nutritious diet tailored to her aged and needs can help maintain her overall health and well-being. Remember that every child is unique, and seeking professional advice will help address your specific concerns effectively.d
