Q.

My baby has missed her 1st dose of pcv vaccine. Is it necessary to give her or we should skip it.

A. u can give her booster. max to max at the age of 8 month u can give pcv. at this stage 2 dose is enough for pcv if u missed earlier one. but after 8 month, vaccine is not that much affective. it's better to give booster.

A. Hello , your baby girl is 9 months old and she has missed her pcv 3 primary doses of pcv so it’s very better to give it right now so go ahead

A. yes it's necessary pcv which also stands for pneumococcal vaccine is a very important vaccine and is mandatory for all children. at present the vaccine is that much important that the indian government is giving it now free of cost in regular vaccination schedule. meet your doctor who will tell you the schedule for pneumococcal vaczcine. even if it was missed previously you can go for it now also. this vaccine prevents infection due to pneumococcal bacteria which can affect the brain throat chest the child
