Q.

my baby has fever from 2 days. I was giving him calpol 2.5 ml every 6 hrs. fever did not reduce. then doctor suggested meftal 4ml for fever. can I give meftal 4ml every 6 hrs?

A. yes, meftal can be given in 6 hourly . keep temperature checking 6 hourly.. Fevers higher than 104° F. should be attended to immediately. Dress your child lightly. Use a sheet instead of a blanket to cover her in bed. Breastfeed or give your baby formula often to maintain hydration of body.
