my baby grunts a lot in night and wakes up because of that. what should I do?

Dr. Vaibhav jainFather of a 5 yr 9 m old girl4 years agoA. it is normal in 1 month old baby know gas is a common issue and affects all new born babies. avoid bottle feeding . Burp baby well for 15 mins after each feed. Can do cycling motion of legs. Can make baby lie on tummy to relieve gas. Give gastica drops 1 ml for ease.
Colic pain is worse at night and needs drops meftal spas 1 ml . Give mother feeds only

POOJA KOTHARIMom of a 8 yr 5 m old boy4 years agoA. They may have gas or pressure in their stomach that makes them feel uncomfortable, and they haven't learned yet how to move things through. While most grunting is normal, if your baby is grunting with every breath, has a fever, or appears to be in distress, see your doctor.
